How awful that Dusty felt she had to lie about her sexuality. Guess that was the 80's for you. RIP Dusty. x

Eyes like a panda??? I don't think so! That was the style. She was georgeous then, and when I look at the footage from the 60's, she is still beautiful.

Thats the thing with fashion. At the time it seems great, and 15 years later we look back and thing WTF was I doing!?
But actually I think she looked fab in the 60's. Much better than she did in the 80's! Her hair and makeup aren't all that flattering here. But her personality is as sparky and humorous as always.

She was 41 here. . I'm really sorry to say that I think she aged very well ~ she looks a lot older than 41.. It's not a criticism. Just an observation.. She was wonderful.

Interesting how the interviewer makes much of Dusty's appearance in the 1960s (and finds it funny). Actually, Dusty always looked charming back then. The baby doll dresses, the neat upswept hair, the dark eyes - all looked great on her because she had a wonderful figure. She was very elegant. A far cry from the awful shaggy perm days that followed!
