I was hoping you would name the foamy look ing fungi. Is it a balled up physarum polycephalum? (spelling questionable)
-
the one at 1:02 was a slime mold.
-
very confusing narration...

-

I think one of those is a slime mold...Probably not though. by the way, I've seen red toadstools pretty early in my life, I was no older than 9. I encourage you to learn about slime molds, they are not taken seriously enough and callled things like 'fungi', 'molds', 'blobs' and even 'slimes'. They are protists.

Orange jelly! There's a monster in SlashEM called orange jelly, and I personally will eat anything I'm sure won't poison me. I wonder what it tastes like.

Fungus? :S
I believe the orange slimy one is orange jelly. I guess it is edible, but it doesn't look very appetizing. I believe the yellow foamy one is scramble egg fungus. The fake barf one might be tree ear.

Thanks very much for your insight! That's really interesting! I wish I could've found a book with common names instead of just latin - it was a bit frustrating. Once again thanks!!

I guess you also don't know that getting to close to fungi can make you lose your mind.

David Arora has a good pocket field guide as well as a thick reference if anyone would like to identify the muchrooms.
Thanks for the videos - very entertaining.

Thanks for comments and information. I'll see if I can find that book at one of the local bookshops. The book I borrowed from the library was all in latin and seemed disorganized, so the book you discribed should be much better. Thanks again!
