Food Science - Hot Cheetos & Milk

This is my project for my food science class. We we're just foolin around and stuff. Hope this video helps people with this kind of stuff. (haha doubt it will) Well, milk is something that counteracts the spice on your tongue.

Other things that will reduce heat is putting salt on your tongue, consuming bread, and of course drinking cold milk.

Peppers spicyness are an oil substance, drinking water would make it spread in your mouth. For instance, if you rub one of your hands on a pepper, and then wait a day or so your hand that your rubbed the pepper with would burn, take that hand and dip it in a cup of water, then dip your other hand in the water and both hands will burn. Short and simple if you dip a Bhut Jolokia in a cup of water and wait a minute then pour the water in a squirt gun it would be a self defense weapon.
