Where Have You Been? Chapter 2

OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD! Yes, it's a new one! Well, I'm sorry for not getting this to you sooner. Life's been crazy.And for those of you who are messaging me and asking when Joe comes in to the story....hmmm....I'm just thinking, maybe, just maybe, it's this one. ;] Here ya go!

I had no clue what I was going to wear so, Libby and I take practically everything out of my closet. "Wow, this is what you should wear. Totally." she says, referring to a yellow silky baby doll dress that I have. "Isn't that a little too dressy for tonight though? Honestly...it's not like we're going to homecoming or anything." I say. "Hmm, well then you should wear this." says Libby as she holds up a light blue baby doll tank top with dark skinny jeans and my gold flats. "That looks pretty good. I guess it's better than nothing." I say. "....or not." Libby says. "Ugh, Libby! You whore!" I laugh. Libby starts on my hair, curling each strand and then brushing it out to make my hair wavy. Then I pull it back into a low side ponytail. I look in the mirror and say, "Well, let's hope this is good enough for Zac. After touching up my makeup and saying goodbye to Libby, I get in Zac's car and we start driving. "You look really amazing tonight, Kelsey." says Zac. I blush and respond, "Thanks. So...where exactly are we going tonight?" Zac gets a smug look on his face, but says nothing. "Come on, Zac...tell me!" I say, laughing. "Well you'll just have to see when we get there." he says. Oh great, I think to myself. Hopefully it isn't somewhere too crazy. I just want to have fun. "Alright, we're here!" Zac says as he pulls up to a mini-golf course. "Oh my gosh. I am horrible at mini-golf." I say. "Well, then I'll just have to teach you a thing or two", he says and winks. As we walk in to pay for our game, we see a huge group of girls outside on the course....and all of them are going crazy over something, or somebody. "Oh, looks like they know I've arrived." says Zac with a smug smile. I laugh, then hit him and say, "Mr. Cocky! You're here for me right?" He laughs and says, "I'm only kidding. There's no girl prettier than you here!" This makes me smile....and all of a sudden I know this night is going to turn out amazing. We keep on trying to find out what is happening within the giant group of girls. Suddenly, I see the reason for the girls in a screaming frenzy. Standing 50 feet away from me with his brothers in Joe Jonas. We make eye contact and I know he knows that it's me. I see him start walking toward me. To avoid a confrontation, I grab Zac and plant my lips on his, in the longest kiss I think I've ever had. I actually got pretty into it, but I didn't let the fact that Joe Jonas was there slip out of my mind. Zac and I break apart and he says, "Wow, Kelsey...that was....unexpected. But, it was good." He smiles and pecks me one more time. Apparently my tactics were useless, because standing in front of me was my worst nightmare...AND he was saying my name.

"Hey Kelsey. It's been a while. Where have you been?"

One look into his deep brown eyes, and they began to draw me in. In that instant, my heart broke all over again. I broke my stare and ran.....I didn't know where I was running to, but I just ran away from everything....from him.
