Let's see, Harley has bearded beer belly tattooed foul mouthed yahoos that killed Buell and have the V-Rod on life support. They meet in Sturgis dressed up for halloween looking like they were just paroled from Folson for runing a meth lab, if they have mufflers - the baffles were knocked out with a length of rebar, and HD marketing sold them their boots, socks, britches, tee shirts, chromed nazi helmets, and ear rings.
Yeah, you're right, Victory will never achieve that.

@E3R510 Sorry!

good point with the starter, if is not broken dont fix it,that's why Harley is not changing the chain drive primary BECAUSE IS NOT BROKEN!! BOLDY.

A few things i need to point out.
First; HD is for enthusiast bike lovers who want to make the bike "theirs" by changing and altering things on the bike.
Victory is for poseurs who want a finished product.
Try to put on a cool 3 inch belt drive primary with the stator in the position it has on a victory.
I agree about the shoes in the camdrive.
But you see thats why S&S, Jims and so on is able to live.
You want to put american workers out of job?
AND, Victory is the copy.....

@1978xs750 Your spelling and grammar tell me you are the beer bellied, ex-con!

The Bottom line is..."somewhere on a desert highway, she rides a victory, her long blonde hair flying in the wind" It just doesn't work...ask Neil Young. Hes a folk musician.

@ArizonaVictory Thanks for all of this info, I have been on the fence for a while about a Victory, but after all the info you have provided the choice is simple. I'll be buying a Victory, now its the really hard decision of deciding which Victory to go with. Thanks Again .
Well would have to argue the point on that, we have replaced numerous compensator sprockets due to chain caused fatigue

All I know if HD and its financial services required a 600 Million infusion (bailout) that Polaris did not, Hum guess Ford and Polaris have things figured out. GM and HD must have the same board of directors.

Obviously you do not follow the stock market, Polaris stock trades at 3 times the price of HD stock

You should be in the 94-98 HP range and about 119 Torque add a power commander to maximiz what you have added with a dyno tune. Those 92 motors make power, add some cams and hang on if you like.
