So, my mum and I went on a bit of a Colin Firth kick two nights ago when we watching "The King's Speech" and followed it up with the 1995 BBC "Pride and Prejudice". Of course, since we have both seen the 2005 film--as well as, I, having seen other adaptations and read the original novel--we spent most of the time chatting, discussing, and comparing the two adaptations.
To be clear, I would please like for no verbal wars about who or which version anyone thinks is better than the other. We all have opinions, I know, but let's not have any sort of wars here. 'Kay? Please and thank you.
Anywho, I was struck by the idea of just throwing together Firth's Darcy with Knightley's Elizabeth...for kicks and giggles, ya know? ;) So, there's no real plot or anything; just instances and moments.
Enjoy and have a happy new year! :)
Very well done.. Stunning.
