The Faces of Boston Ballet: Isaac Akiba

In an unprecedented achievement, Isaac Akiba has become the first outreach alumnus to receive a contract as a company dancer with Boston Ballet. Isaac was first introduced to the art of ballet through Citydance, a scholarship dance opportunity offered to third-grade students in the Boston Public Schools. Following years of training at Boston Ballet School and an apprenticeship with Boston Ballet II, Isaac will launch his professional career at Boston Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet.
