2009 NINCO World Cup Southwest Regional Race at Mr. Model Car in Santa Monica, CA: Trophy Presentation. Regional winners qualify to compete in the National event. USA National winners become Team USA, and will each receive a trophy, Team USA shirts, the applicable NINCO World Cup racecar and assortment of racing parts, airfare to Europe for the World Cup Super GT Event + nights in a hotel for the duration of the racing event. Ninco World Cup rules specify eligible models sans magnet that may be modified using Ninco parts with mandatory NC-6 motor and either Shore A-25 or Laprene tires randomly distributed one hour before race time. Competitors are allowed to prepare cars in advance and true tires just before technical inspection, after which, cars are impounded for the event. The winning car was a Ninco Ford GT in Dubai livery supplied by BRSHobbies.com modified with Ninco #80408 Ball Bearings, Ninco #80229 ProRace EVO STD 31T/13T Gears, Ninco #80736 ProRace EVO STD 15'' Wheels (front), Ninco #80522 ProRace Ultra Low Slick Tires (17.5 mm x 9 mm), Ninco #80112 ProRace Suspension Guide with Braid Special thanks to Brian at BRS Hobbies for expediting these parts in time for this event. Terry De Los Santos and Bruce Talamon finished second and third using Ninco Moslers.
