@zoomzoom3211 even though yes, arabic and hebrew are pretty similar, like 1 in hebrew is echad, in arabic it's wachad, 5 in hebrew is chamesh, in arabic its hamsa. hebrew and arabic share small similarities like this, but a arabic speaker cant really understand a hebrew speaker or vice versa.

@sam4121 I am sephardic, and arabic is similar to hebrew, but its not at all that similar that an arabic speaker can understand hebrew or vice versa. and aramaic is much more similar to hebrew then arabic.

all jewish men in yemen spoke arabic and most spoke and read hebrew.. but not all could read arabic.

I Understand the Arabic but can't read it cause its in the Hebrew alphabet why is the Arabic in the Hebrew Alphabet?

@RIPeach speak arabic and you'd easily understand hebrew if spoken in a pure NON ASHKENAZIM accent...arabic is a key language to learning Aramaic and Hebrew
