REMEMBER IDIOTS. THIS WAS A DELETED SCENE. Kate NEVER touched her EAR in the final episode that made it.

There is a REASON why this was removed. She was having trouble with the earpiece.

I mean LOOK AT THE 0:01.... She has HER FINGER in HER EAR.

Not the back of her ear. INSIDE HER EAR where the earpiece is located.
