  • Going to see Ray at the Kimmel Center in Philly right after Thanksgiving. I have plenty to give thanks for that! How did you take video at such an event?

  • @soupafly81 - Have a great time at the Kimmel Center! Very cool that you'll see Ray on Thanksgiving Day. I took this video with my regular camera, but used video mode. I had front-row seats. No one told me to stop, so I kept on recording! :) And I'm so glad, because this was a fantastic show to document...one of my all-time favorite concerts.

  • @eileen4videos Well I'm so glad you got these videos. My aunt recently saw Ray in concert with the choir and said it was one of the best shows she's ever been to. I can't wait! Oh, and he's not playing on Thanskgiving day I believe. The show is 2 days later.

  • @soupafly81 - Thanksgiving weekend is good enough. Ray will make it a fun and festive holiday weekend, indeed. Is Ray still playing with the choir? I thought he ended that set, and figured he was back to his rock shows. But if he does do the choir show, then you're lucky. :)

  • Ray - not only a brilliant songwriter and musician, also a helluvan ACTOR!

  • @eileen4videos Full choir :-) He's only doing 4 east coast shows to support his new album.

  • @rjd9902 - "Ray" is a good name. :)

  • @eileen4videos My pleasure. Thanks for posting this! By the way...I am also named Ray.

  • @rjd9902 - Ah, it's nice that the video touched you emotionally. It's all thanks to Ray -- he AND his songs are amazing. (Glad I was able to share this awesome moment with you and others on YouTube. This concert was one of the best I've ever seen, no doubt. Maybe THE BEST! Too good to not share. --Thanks for your comment.)

  • I was moved to tears viewing this video...in a good way. I saw the Kinks live in Philly back in the 70's...but this rendition of Cellouid Heros kicks ass! I'm a tri-axle dump truck driver 57 years old and I'm not moved to tears for too many things...but this video is AWESOME!
