  • Hi. Where can I get harpsichord jacks?

    thanks.

  • hi there.

Do you have a schematic for this design?

I am looking into building an instrument that can play itself and was recomended to look into harpsichord jacks as a means to play the string this simple design could work really well i think with a few modifications...

  • Thank you for the demonstration!

  • @Askelairlines747 Good harpsichords (all?) should be quick acting. It MAY depend on the weight of the jack, and a heavy jack will fall quicker.

  • i always wanted to see that secret hidden mechanism :-D will it go down fast enough so that you can hit it twice in one sec?

    5*

  • so obvious, the whole time i was wondering how it plucks the string

  • A very clear and wordless explanation. A demonstration is worth 1000 words!
