I used a roto-tiller with my vegetable garden. i statred to dig about 8", 5 minutes into the job, I decided to rent one locally. I 20 minutes with a commercail sized tiller ($40/4 hours), I was done and it went to a depth of 15". I'm now enjoying zucchini, tomatoes and a whole bunch of other stuff thanks to tilling instead of manual digging.

These machines are awesome for tilling some ground before planting a garden.

See Im lucky my dad has three backhoes at his work. He can just call the float bed and ship them to our house. THAT EASY!

I have an acre of a years worth of bushhogged growth. The land is very bumpy and uneven due to the previous owners horses that lived out there. My next step is to weed kill the acre. What would be my best option to turn it into usable yard that I can mow with a normal riding mower?

i own a mantis for small gardening chores it rocks and own a 20hp diesel tractor with a 5ft tiller for slightly bigger jobs

The problem is that you have desecrated an ancient burial ground.
Now the garden is cursed.

if you dont want 2 move the dirt out of the way use a digger or tell your son 2 do it lol
I have no rototiller since a certain relative of mine started it with no oil. Naturally it seized up, and I haven't heard as much as an apology since.
