  • It is very nice to see good tutorials, but I only find bossa nova beginner tuts. Why isn´t there a tut for advanced players?

  • @fatzound That's a complex question. I think the needs of advanced players are too varied. Some may need right hand issues or left hand. Others may need theoretical issues like harmony rhythm and so on. And most important, they need direct interaction.

  • It was a Spanish Alhambra 3c. Unfortunately, It was destroyed on the 27 Feb earthquake last year.

  • Thanks from Wales. A great video and your advice is excellent.

If you could help with a video showing the chord shapes that would be great.

Also my favourite song is Este Seu Olhar and if you could show us those shapes I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks again.

  • I'm precisely working on that song at the moment! only that my video capturer is broken. But I`ll find a way to record it anyway. Thank you for dropping by.

  • @DerDrache youutube.com/watch?v=n0bXC4Sd-xY

  • I use playing with João Gilberto Check my video Amazing Guitar Player. Aderbal Duarte

  • what kind of guitar do you have?

  • are you brazilian? (just curious because it's rare to see people aware from brazil doing bossa nova's videos.

  • I read this somewhere in a bossa nova book: The thumb should be parallel to the strings and the index, middle, and ring finger should be perpendicular across the strings. Joao Gilberto adopted the right hand technique exactly from classical guitar.

  • brasil!!!!!!!

  • Muito bom!
