Nuestro Pueblo, commonly called the Watts Towers, in the Watts district of Los Angeles, California, is a collection of 17 interconnected structures, two of which reach heights of over 99 feet (30 m). The Towers were built by Italian immigrant construction worker Sabato ("Sam" or "Simon") Rodia in his spare time over a period of 33 years, from 1921 to 1954. The work is a superb example of non-traditional vernacular architecture...Ejoy it
P.S. Soundtrack "Caruso" by Lucio Dalla

  • don't think today authority's would let this happen now. personally i think they a great, they remind me of Barcelona's cathedral

  • Beautiful, Beautiful

  • this buildings r made by beautiful junk by a itaian man who spent 30 years of his life to make this beautiful towers...he made it jus by himself

  • You are right, the singer is Lucio Dalla a famous italian pop star. Unfortunately you cannot understand the italian script talking about the dreams of the italian immigrants into the US at the beginning of the last century when Rodia arrived in Ellis Island.

  • I dont know what hes saying but it sounds lovley to my ears.I hope I can visit Watts one day uninturrupted!

  • the watts towers were featured in the game Grand theft auto san andreas

  • Honestly. This man has a "singing" voice, but not an operatic voice, let alone one to be compared to The Great Caruso.
