The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas was filmed in my hometown, Hallettsville, Texas. I was just a little-bitty kiddo when I met Dolly Parton and Burt Reynolds on the set of this fine musical. This song is featured in the movie, though sung by different women, in a montage when the whorehouse gets shut down. "I Will Always Love You", another Parton classic, is on this soundtrack as well.
