Ilford cibachrome motor base with jobo drum test

it's just a 17 seconds video of showing how fast does the motor base turns the jobo drum. Inside the drum there's 300ml developer, a 4x5 reel and one sheet of 4x5 film. and I've added 3 pieces of ice cream sticks on top of the machine to bring the balance of the jobo drum back to certain level. I tried to make it perfectly on level but the drum falls off...

Just single direction, and you will have streaking on the film. So the only way you can fix it is to change the direction frequently like every 30 seconds. If you managed to make a little timer thing on your motor connection to reverse the action then you got it!

You could design and build a widget to reverse direction every 30 seconds...

Or you could just turn the drum over the other way :-)

So this base does not reverse directions? Does this cause streaking in the negatives? I am looking at building a base but I have been told that constant rotation in the same directions will cause streaking.
