@CubanOverlord Actually, he was pissed because of the amp not working that well. But yeah, he hated when people acted like Polly was a pop song.

He smashed it because Polly is supposed to be a sad song about rape and people sing along to it like it's funny. People not understanding his music is what pissed him off, he mentions Polly as one of the songs people don't understand. Ultimately he felt like he was famous and successful when no one knew what the hell the music he was writing was about, one of the reasons he was suicidal.
