Billy Moore has a few adventures on his R/C solo day, but he put three good landings together to earn his solo certificate. He was the 105th student to solo at Hobbies Aloft R/C Flight School back in Feb, '99. At the time, Billy was in the Army and was attending the Defense Language Institute in Monterey. Billy soloed after just under 10 hours of dual instruction at Hobbies Aloft. He said he always wanted to fly R/C WWII fighter planes, and I am sure that is what he is flying today. ft
