Thanks so much. Subscribed to your music page and for email updates. Used to attend the Hawaiian music series at Whittier College in the Shannon theater. Good to know there is another venue to hear Hawaiian music, much closer to our home, too! Tell Poncie I try to catch as many of the old Hawaiian eye episodes as I can on Youtube before Warner Bros. eventually forces people to remove them. They were great shows. Thanks again!

Ask him if he remembers visiting Fort Worth, Texas back in about 1968?

Cool. I never heard him sing before. He looks like he had fun.
I love that guitar player. He is awesome!

Heard there was music at Bob's on Saturday but didn't know that Poncie was often the performer. Knowing this, I will try to make a special effort to drop by hoping to catch him sometime. Please tell him I am a major Hawiian Eye fan! Was just a young un' when it was on, but the tropical set decor and that cool detective agency with a real pool as part of the "office" made quite the impression. Oh yeah, and of course, Poncie - the only dude who actually looked like he belonged there!

@sanseidancer Shucks you just missed him last Saturday. He is there frequently but call for any Saturday and ask if I am playing there (Uncle Kiki) and if Poncie is coming in. Or send me an email and let me know when you plan on coming and I'll try to see if he is coming. You won't believe how extremely well preserved he is and what a dynamic performer he still is. The video was taken when he had a throat thing. I subscribed to you and sent a friendship request. Unc Kiki
