Beautiful Backing Track!!
-
in what scale is it??
-
@MarcBeckK Well then remind me to never listen to one of your albums either. If you think Stern has good tone you've got no taste.
-
@Sunderlanding I know that was a joke, but obviously you think that chorus on lead doesn't sound good. Mike Stern doesn't have a bad tone, when I began listening to him I thought it was bad too, but when you've listened to a lot of his music you start to understand what he's doing, and then his tone is actually pretty good. Good enough that I have copied it for some of the stuff I've played.

@MarcBeckK Mike Stern has some of the worst tone of all time, and Scofield is only cool when he isn't using that shit. Besides it was obviously a joke. "Proven with science" should've given that away.
-
@Sunderlanding Mike Stern and John Scofield begs to differ. Chorus on lead can be cool if done right.

Wow I can feel my legs... Or my mind!!!!
-
@edthewave wouldn't matter what key you put it in thats what the CAGE system is for

Why are all these backing tracks in E? I'm gonna make one in D# or Ab just to piss you guitardists off LOL!
@801332 If you can sweep you should be able to figure out a simple chord progression like this. Give it a try and see what you come up with. The ability to hear and recognize chords is more important than any shred technique.
