@baboondust They want people with life experience, but having a college degree under your belt is never a waste, especially in a field as competitive as Policing.

@pattXrobb28 ,i dont know about that ,recruiters told me that it is a waste ,it looks oke on resume, but that is about it ,thay want unique people not carbon copies

@rainman1344 Without police foundations you have veeeery slim chances of getting as far as the police academy. On top of that it's needed for a lot of promotions in the police force. Many officers right now actually are going back to college and taking police foundations courses so that they can further themselves in their careers.

@TNamaypoke1972 Honestly police foundation is just a waste of money since you get all he same training once u get into the police acadamy
Thats what serveral police officers and recruiters have tol me

@2007killa
there are no height requirements or any requirements that relate to how you look. you can be 6'4 210lb of pure muscle but if you cant figure out how to talk with people and solve their problems without brute force you might as well sign up for bodybuilding cause you will find that policing right now isnt about the meatheads anymore.
you can be 5', 90lb and be a cop as long as you can pass their test requirements and show them your commitment and motivation to be a cop.

omg thats my teacher! Wow at the actual ATS where you do the testing they lay down a resistant rug where the dummy has to be dragged so it actually feels like 200lbs rather than 150lbs
