Hundreds of activists demand EU "Bail out the planet"

More than 300 activists from 20 different countries are arrested in Brussels this morning to take action and demand a financial commitment to tackling climate change. The activists have surrounded the building in Brussels where finance ministers are discussing funding for climate change.

Capitalism and the Earths environment are not compatible. Unless enough people stand up and stop it, capitalism will continue until we have fucked up the planet. A capitalist system expects infinite growth with FINITE resources (WTF?); there is no logic to it. On top of that, 1% own 40% of the wealth.

If greenpeace supports the global warming theory they are wrong...and they are promoting the signing of the climate reaty via the UN?..Thats a lie, they are either deceived or working for the government...the climate treaty is a NWO taxation of the entire planet that will give power to the UN for more than carban laws...stupid. The real world cares more about money than the environment. Too bad the cops didn't arrest the real criminals inside the hotel rather than the young people outside. If law is a weapon of class struggle, then citizens should let the banks fail and pay for their own folly.

oh and about the consumption remark we still import rice from china, import fruits and vegetables from all over the world and hardly buy local produce though all this overproduction is apparently across Europe. This was about climate change. if you care about the environment you'd support this action. There are many campaigns to protect old growth forests from destruction for soya, palm oil, and livestock. If you cared about the environment you'd support these campaigns. Many species of whales were hunted to verge of extinction. An abundance of Minke whales doesn't mean you can have a free for all and hunt them to extinction. If you cared about the ecology of the seas, you'd support a ban!!
