i dj on pc and have done for 8 years now vdj has crashed 2 times in all that time that why always have some form of hard backup atm its a american audio sdj2 and for record my mate who also djs on mac and swears by it as also had his software crash to. we know why now its simple make sure its dedicated to job in hand my pc i disabled wifi bluetooth there is no extra softwear on it at all it dose djing only nothing else i also removed the batteries to reduce power management problems

@kidbanga10 i know this is old but to the new readers you don't need a mac. tweak the windows machine a little and it will run just fine. i have a lenovo edge win 7 it runs great. as of now i'm running the beta 2.0 itch. no crash yet. i would love to have a mac but why should i spend $2000 just to have that little applet? just my 2 cents here. very nice set up thank you.

We get it, if the speakers are matching you dont need to show both logos on each speakers. You move around to slow, it gets boring and aggravating watching this.
Plus that system blows to much set up and I get you get a good size skidmarks lifting those subs. Itch is for wossys, virtual dj is the ruler for mobile djs.

I orginally had a windows laptop and it crashed 2 days before I had to Dj a party. I spoke to a couple of other djs and they told me get the Mac. I haven't had any problems since.

what made you go with the k8s? instead of k10 or k12s?

the size and the sound is amazing on the k8... its extremely loud and clear. Ive heard the k12 and the k8 side by side and i like the tight bass on the k8 more than the 12. You would never think something so small can get that loud. It surprises a lot of people lol. It also can take a beating without clipping and it doesn't break a sweat when pushed hard.
