How to Make Absinthe

1.5 oz wormwood, 1/3 oz hyssop, 1/3 oz fennel seed, 1 tsp coriander, 2 star anise fruits, 1 tsp cloves. after distilling add 1 tsp mint, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 oz wormwood. strain again. serve with water and sugar cube. enjoy!!

Wrong! Absinthe does not need to be distilled!! if find that its not giving you the "trip" that true absinthe gives you, then you're using the wrong type of wormwood. you wormwood with thujone in it, the reason you don't have the right type of wormwood is because you're using an absinthe kit and they remove the thujone because its illegal to make true absinthe in most countries. So if you use natural wormwood you dont need to distill the absinthe. and brewed absinthe tastes better than distilled
