  • it's a melancholy melody of old.

    i wonder how the composer felt when he made it.

  • This is the right ammount of drummers!

  • mybe because they are disbaning that unit they play the rouges march. sad isnt it.

  • Before it was used in the British Army it was a dance tune called "Jamaica" and it is believed to date back to Shakespeare's time.

  • We call it that too, but i sweden its just a song that we play. Very few people know its meaning.

  • In England that tune was known as "The Rogue's March" and was only played when men were drummed out of the army in disgrace! Perhaps it has different connotations in Sweden?

  • What´s that piper´s song called?
