Power and decadence were, on many occasions, equally represented as attributes of great rulers. Louis XIV was one of the most radical examples.

Serious? Louis XIV was a super powerfull and rich king.
He is my favorite king in France history.

the music in trailers usually has nothing in common with epoch :)
