This is one of my all time favorite OD's. By far. Unique. Not the usual boring ballroom dances, or eternal Latin themes (this coming from a Latina).

Nope, Averbukh and Lobacheva should have been first. I'm Bulgarian myself, but the Russians were the best on this tournament :)

I strongly disagree. Averbukh and Lobacheva were good skaters but I thought they had a tendency to rush through the music. I also thought Denkova & Staviyski much had deeper edges and much more difficult choreography in terms of footwork, handholds, etc (they had the most difficult OD of that entire competition). And it was so refreshing to see an OD that wasn't to music by Johann Strauss. That OD competition that year was almost a Strauss-athon!

Very classy stuff and a ton of difficulty in the choreography and footwork. Should've been way up in first.
