Changing the front turn signal bulb in my 1995 Subaru Legacy with unforseen difficulties.

Subarus are great and reliable, but many of the bolts they use are low-quality and will rust and break. When you put something back together, USE ANTI-SEIZE COMPOUND. You'll thank yourself later.

  • in Australia, our headlight assembly on the gen2 bg5's have a seperate indicator housing from the main headlight and we use clear globes through an orange filter in the housing! same make and model, just little differences

  • @djslev1 In the US, the first generation cars had a separate turn signal light housing. It was more practical, in my opinion.

  • When ever I take off rusty bolts from my 95 legacy I just replace them with some rust free junk yard bolts....You have to love california sometimes...

  • @79Datson Same reason I sometimes despise New England :)

  • @79Datson No rust-free junkyard bolts here, unfortunately. I tend to buy a bulk box of new automotive bolts at Autozone every year or so.
