Haha - NO. My time in Bangladesh has been anything but luxurious. I'm lucky to have a lot of relatives in Bangladesh - many of them live in nice, modern, and homes free of infestation.

But, unfortunately, most of these well-to-do relatives have been unwilling to help me with a place to stay. So I stay in places like this. If it isn't flooded, going without running water, than its infested with hundreds upon hundreds of cockroaches.

I killed a good many of them before turning on the camera. They were crawling in every nook and cranny. This is but a small fraction of the total I found that night...

  • Clarification of what? This channel is about my personal vlogs - what's going on in my life. Somehow, as someone with a major roach phobia, killing 50+ roaches in one evening sounded worthy to mention.

I find it surprising that those taking issue with this video are all from - or have ties to - Bangladesh. Some say it's not Dhaka, others point out there are mansions in Dhaka, others question why I put it up.

It's a video site.. where I can put up videos of stuff I filmed.

  • To prevent this hapening, keep it nice and clean, Not only in Bangladesh you can get this in Europe also.

    Not to blame country's.

  • @greenheart49 They eat anything they can. They are omnivores.

  • @UnculturedProject hearin ya :) Cockroaches freak the living death out of me-I live with 5 Bungla's here in Brisbane, Australia. Some of the nicest people I will ever meet and I will being visiting your beautiful country at some stage (reminds me of home, New Zealand)

Think I may have been abit tipsy when I wrote that comment-I didn't mean it as it sounds...little bit embarrassed :S

  • @truhyphy yea....you fag

  • Step on them!

  • Did you know roaches are carnivores?

  • @UnculturedProject tough times bro. Hope you atleast got round to a few of the cool places about.

  • @CrimsonSuperNova Well my work doesn't pay much (aside from minor adsense revenue and other irregular income) and I don't take a cut from donations for living expenses. So I really had to stay in a place like this because that's the only place I could stay for free. It's a home of a relative.

  • although yeah true, the roach infestation in the country is absurd! Stupid fucking pests :@

  • Wow, that is quite the shit hole you're living in. But I really don't see anything worth complaining about if you picked that sort of place to stay in in the first place.. I've lived in bd practically my whole life and I've rarely entered such a place. And i'm just from a middle class family.

  • @techracer100 That's true but also not necessarily providing the full context. The house itself is spic and span. It's regularly cleaned with the local cleaning product called Savlon. The problem is that cochroaches are a very resourceful species. They can hide in the tinest crack and also come out near sewers. So if you're home is low-lying, old, or near sewers - not much you can do. I've also seen tons of roaches in fancy Gulshan "clean" apartments too.
