About 7 of us went hiking with the Sierra Club on this trail on the edge of Dillingham Airfield on the North Shore of the island of Oahu, Hawaii. It started out with lots of switchbacks zigzagging left and right about 1,000 feet, and one mile up the mountain. Then, we climbed another big elevation for about 2 miles up the dirt roads and trails. Our halfway point was overlooking Makua Valley.
We then returned back the same route to the beginning of the trail.
