Not sure how to classify this since raw includes belt. Had to wear the wrist wraps because my girly wrists hurt when i squat heavy and i always wear my rehband knee sleeves to keep my knees pain free, i doubt they give you anything on the lift anyway. Sadly i missed the second rep, probably because of how deep i went, well below parallel. (waits for bitching about depth) This is my new plan for my "light week". No belt only the rehband belt for warmth and the little support it gives when my back starts to get sore. Only way i can keep myself from going heavy.

  • Never fails damnit!!!! I was about an inch off of the rack, if i went much lower i would have hit the saftey. Plus when i get down that deep its about the max of my flexibility.

  • Sick effort. Get on the hamstring stretches if you haven't since this video, and you'll find the last couple inches come a lot easier. You'll be parallel soon enough.

  • GOOD SQUAT -I personally wouldn't attempt it without knee wraps for fear of some wreckage :)) Of course I'm over twice your age

  • varies with me some times i can go ATG easy most of the time i go to parallel other wise my form go's to shit if i drop that extra few inches.

    I still squat the same though, IMO your getting plenty deep for strongman, but just missing parallel.
