this may sound wierd, but watching this I didn't see Day Lewis's character as a villan. He was a sly, greedy jerk, but he never came off as the butcher from gangs of ny.

@machinmaman87 i was thinking the same thing, because co-host usually just, like replaces carlyle when hes not there, thats just what iv noticed, and im wondering why carlyle isnt around anymore, i mean maybe they dont hate each other, maybe they were just busting each other's balls i guess, idk

Great movie. I greatly appreciated all the performances. And has anyone noticed how this is the only review where co host and Carlyle sit through it together? Is it just me or do they hate each other?

I don't know why, but Citizen Kane just didn't hit any high notes for me. I recognize it as a good movie but I just can't see why it's on such a high pedestal. Maybe I'll watch it again.
