I wish to hell that this could have been a movie about how awesome this band was, instead of a story about how (once again) someone sick on cruelty destroyed a beautiful life. But it is a helluva a good documentary, even with the sadness of it. The music is great, the interviews are real and captivating- it's a great piece of art.

I think Mia rocks but this 'Angel In Heaven' stuff is a little creepy and I can't help but wonder what she'd think of it. Mia was about twelve kinds of awesome, and I understand that people want to be comforted, but the 'angels' thing seem really trite.

And to put her on the same list as frickin NANCY SPUNGEN?!? Are you out of your mind?

Very sad. I'm sure that if she had lived The Gits would have acheived a great deal. I just wish she hadn't been walking alone at 2:00 in the morning. The girl had guts.
