All of you guys who are like "Oh, I'm gonna be in Delta Force when I join the Army"
First of all, playing first-person shooters is not "joining the Army". Secondly, Delta Force does not exist according to the United States government. We have reasonable proof that it does. But don't go off saying you're gonna become an operative for a unit that doesn't exist. Lastly, you get hand-picked to join Delta. You don't just try out for Delta School. So come on guys... Think before you speak.

Whoever said that hoot is a real character, you're wrong...he was based off of several characters in the movie if you read the book, there was a guy named hoot who served as a delta operator, but was not the person Bana played in the movie. And delta force does exist to the guy who said that they don't there just classified.
