As far as I'm concerned he was the best musician back in the 60s - 70s and still is today.

I do love the published version, with the bright piano work, but I'm so, so happy this one exists too. It's altogether different and so very lovely.

Saw Nick play in a university folk club to a small group of students in 1970 when I was 12. I could never understand why mainstream passed him by for so many decades. 'Riverman' from his 1st album is still sublime to listen too.

this was the 1st thing I heard by him at an all night concert in london at about 3. 30am before yes came on, and it seemed as if Id always known it. then saw him at festival hall london september 1969, so good.
