Camper Hope Franklin Meets a Very Special Person

Many of the campers here at Camp ASCCA benefit from our campership program. This program gives money, that has been donated, to campers so they do not have to pay the full price of camp. One of these campers, Hope Franklin, got to meet the person who sponsored her to come to camp last week.

Jessy Alfonso, Hopes sponsor, received money from a philanthropy class she was in. They were told to take the money and give it to an organization of their choice. Jessy had previously visited Camp ASCCA for a school field trip and knew this was the place she wanted to send her money.

She contacted Matt Rickman and told him about the project and Matt told Jessy about the campership program and about Hope. She then decided it was the perfect way to use the money that she had been given.
