In week two of the 2010 National Football League season, Sunday, September 19, 2010, featured a full slate of 15 games. Seven teams continued their success to reach a 2-0 record while 17 squads evened their record at 1-1. Six teams struggled for the second-consecutive week, going down 0-2 in the young 2010 season.

Early Sunday afternoon games featured disgraced quarterback Michael Vick leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a 35-32 win over the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys posting their second-straight loss, this week to the Chicago Bears with a score of 27-20.

Seasoned quarterback Brett Favre had another poor game, throwing three interceptions as the Minnesota Vikings lost 14-10 to the Miami Dolphins. Favre commented after the loss, "It was more what we didn't do than what they did, but I give those guys credit."

In a battle of the AFC East, Mark Sanchez and his "Hard Knocks" New York Jets defeated the New England Patriots 28-14 in a late afternoon game. The Patriots offense was completely shut out in the second half, a situation New England quarterback Tom Brady said "just sucked."

Perhaps the most-notable game of week two 2010 was "Manning Bowl" part two in the Sunday night game. Brothers Peyton and Eli Manning went head to head as the Indianapolis Colts dominated the New York Giants 38-14. The brothers met once before with Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts winning that contest as well.

Posting wins for the second-consecutive week were the Pittsburgh Steelers, defeating the Tennessee Titans 19-11, the Kansas City Chiefs, topping the Cleveland Browns 16-14, the Green Bay Packers, dominating the Buffalo Bills 34-7, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, edging out the Carolina Panthers 20-7, and the Houston Texans, who beat the Washington Redskins 30-27.

Among the teams that evened their record to 1-1 during the week included the Cincinnati Bengals, who defeated the Baltimore Ravens 15-10, the Atlanta Falcons, who beat the Arizona Cardinals 41-7, the Denver Broncos, who topped the Seattle Seahawks 31-14, the Oakland Raiders, who bested the St. Louis Rams 16-14, and the San Diego Chargers, who shut down the Jacksonville Jaguars 38-14.
