COPO Council of Peoples Organization New York

After 9/11 the Muslims of New York city faced the repercussions of those terrible September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center. Many Pakistanis and Asians from the Sub continent were being picked up from the streets by the FBI for interrogation. Many of them were deported if they were illegal in the U.S or over staying without representation. Council of Pakistani organizations became Council of Peoples organization and came to the rescue of those innocent citizens who did know their rights in the land of civil liberties.
