CANNABIS CULTURE - Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper answered questions this evening in a YouTube-sponsored poll and interview where marijuana was the #1 issue. As expected, the PM rehashed the same old tired arguments in defense of his destructive cannabis policies.

  • Geez are it's like he's trying to lull the audience to sleep so they don't noticed he dodged the question. Loved the line about supporting international drug cartels when 90% of the weed Canadians smoke is domestic, moreover most regular basis smokers know their supplier i.e. have met the guy who grows it. It's like going to the farmers market, go local, that way you know exactly what you're getting and what to ask for in the future.

  • Most of his answer is saying about how bad the people are who are in the drug trade, the violence, the killings, the intimidation, the billions of dollars the criminals make from pot........he doesn't realize that is the whole point! Legalize it and take the whole process away from the criminal organizations. "drugs are bad" he says, so are cigarettes, and booze. A lot more people die from the use of those legal things than the use of pot. Give your head a shake, and tell the truth Harper

  • Drug trade is ruining lives because it's illegal.

  • @SW32SNUB " you have destoyed me" mmm yeah that is right. I think you have shown me what pot does to ones brain. Bee stings kill also, but I am not talking about bee stings nor alcohol, but pot, and as I showed by the deaths of two young peopl, pot does kill. So you have been spanked again. Get off the pot and let the brain cells grow again.

  • mr harper can you please tell me how smoking tobacco is healthy

    i'm listening

  • I think he needs to smoke some ganja for once, so he'll understand what's good about it 8) MJ is a very good plant even without smoking it. I don't smoke it, but you can make a shit load of good things from hemp, foods, clothing, medicine and other many usages. He talks about alcohol and tobacco respectable industry???? Aahahahaha, wow retardeness. If you worry about the corruption and all other blah-blah-blah. So much lies. He doesn't worry about nothing beside he's own wealth.

  • pot dont kill!!! go do something usefull Harper!!!! grrrrr from a proud Canadian!!

  • wow hes such a pussy, he just looks like a square. who does your hair Harper? wtf .... Chretien looked better than this guy and thats AFTER a stoke. He just makes us look bad get off the stage.

  • @Kai84719 It is clear to me that you are extremely thickheaded. Obviously the two died in the fire, that was never in question. I'm not defending or promoting the negative and positive effects of pot. I'm juxtaposing pot with the very legal drugs such as alcohol, etc. Why can alcohol be legal and yet pot cannot? It is actually a fact that alcohol has been related to the direct cause of death significantly more than pot has. I've destroyed you, admit your defeat as you will not win against me.

  • I love how he hates on weed when he's never gotten high. Also he talks about the harmful effects of weed and has no proof.. I guess that's what you can do when you are the PM... Stephen Harper is a liar.

  • He's concerned with our children being able to get marijuana? So why is it easier to get than alcohol? It is because of prohibition. If marijuana was legalized and regulated than it would be harder for kids to get. That is not just my opinion it is a fact. Anybody no matter the age can buy weed without a problem. Half of this interview it sounded as if he was supporting legalization. Marijuana absolutely causes gang and cartel violence but that is only because it is an illegal trade. If it were

  • Canada is pot paradise and they should just legalize it.
