Pokemon Blue: "Moving the Truck" revealed.

We've all heard it before, especially those of us who were around and remember vividly when Pokemon Red/Blue first came out.

"MOVE THE TRUCK MEW IS UNDER IT!!!"

By the time I had read that, the SS Anne had departed (I got HM01) and I couldn't get back into that little area where the ship was. My dreams were crushed, until some people started saying the rumors were false.

If you get HM01, and then get knocked out on purpose, you will restart at the last Pokemon Center you were at, and the SS Anne will not have left, so you could go back at any time, this time Surf, and check out that truck.

The rumors were proven false long ago, but here's some video proof that you just can't move that truck (and you can't slash its tires either).

@XeZMNa Pidgey can learn HM02 Fly it cannot however learn the other three. It was a hack that allowed him to do this, sort of like how a hack will let Pikachu learn HM03 Surf in Yellow Version to play the Pikachu Surfing Minigame outside of Fuchsia City south of the Gym.

You're just testing this now? I could have told you this years ago. I tested it months later when Blue came out after Red Version. Though I can say I remember the area Differently. I thought the Truck was more south.

@AlexCohen33 Actually, based on every item and pokemon value in the cartridge and on the RAM, there is no item called TRUCK KEY, nor is there a programmed Togepi pokemon. The closest thing is the pair of keys in the game corner, which looks like the developers were going to do something but didn't, same with the truck. They did, however, make it so you can find a lava cookie under it in Fire Red/Leaf Green.
