my lm7 has a 216/224 howards max torque cam, 7.4 hardened comp cams pushrods, flowmaster exhaust, ls6 comp cams valvetrain, ls1 dr timing chain. ill post. vids soon.

@xZZxTakedown haha yup. That's what we did with my cousin's LT1. Rear end was about to go, so he took it to the track with the goal of blowing it out. Put on his spray, and better tires for the night.
After we picked up all the pieces, it was a good excuse for him to get a beefier one haha.

You're good till you start going over 450-465 at the wheels lol,I've seen too many people say bye bye to their motors that way. I love ls1's but hate their stock internals, but it's not like you can buy some badass new ones right? haha

@xZZxTakedown Indeed. I just read up on an LM7 build that did a head swap and cam. Made around 450 crank hp (wasn't dropped into a car). Once you factor in drivetrain loss, that's still pretty damn impressive.
Too bad the internals wouldn't last so long. But money bullet proofing saves you cash in the end heh.

There are plenty cam only ls1's that make those numbers, let alone reach what he did on those cam specs.

sounds good... there is no way you made 409 to the ground with stock heads and a cam like that...

How do you figure? car has full exhaust, no cats all the bolt ons. Why would I have to lie? Some LS1s were factory freaks and dynoing 320 rwhp stock..they were underrated from the factory.
