  • Binder should be used for a large or commercial area. Not fun to shovel!!! I like to get on the asphalt sooner with a little roller for a better press.

  • Seems to me that a binder coat isn't needed. Generally this work is done with crushed rock like 5/8" minus and for a residential like this only 2" of asphalt should be needed unless it's seeing heavy use like an RV.

    Being that Asphalt is about 5-6 times the cost of crushed rock it seems like this is just an extra expense that the homeowner is paying to rectify the contractors lack of proper grade work.

  • That driway is good for condominiums and for cars with leaking oil,but it's not aesthetic.The stamped concret is more beautiful for a house.But this company work good.Good job.
