ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - Shelly Spitzer's world changed dramatically over the past few months. The single mother of three children was diagnosed with breast cancer on Christmas Eve, and just recently she learned that her teaching position will not be renewed due to declining enrollment at the school. There's a good chance she will have to sell her home to make ends meet. But Shelly's friends describe her as strong, living life without fear, thanks in large part to her faith in God. But she still needs a helping hand, and that's why her friend Erin Maurer wants to Pay It Forward.
