So Brain doesn't have AS? Once I learned about AS (after being diagnosed with it myself) and also learned that a lot of scientists, like Albert Einstein, seemed to have it (or related ASDs) too, I kind of inferred that Brain must have it, when I thought of him again (I hadn't watched Arthur in years). Well, I guess the autism diagnosis (or possibly label) doesn't fit every scientist or genius, right?

that is quite a good way to describe it but there are many other points it misses out for example our dislike of contact and sensativity to certain things. tho if you were to list every thing of AS it would take a long time lol.

I'd heard the depression sometimes comes from the stress we get with Asperger's Syndrome... Tony Attwood said it in an interview, but not everyone is the same, especially on our "team". :/ But I get random depression sometimes, too. I don't have schizo, though. But I'll bet that giraffe would have scared me, too.

I can relate to Carl here. I found this out of curiosity looking up to see if there was any cartoons who did have characters like him who portray such things, and it's nice to see this, especially how they all get along as buddies.

I absolutely love Arthur for dealing with subjects like this for kids at a young age--from episodes like this, they learn that no one is the same and people who have physical/neurological problems are still amazing. :)

@KroMcLovinFaSho That's true. I may have Asperger's (it was suspected when I was younger, and it's questionable right now) and I'm most definitely right-brained. I absolutely HATE math, and science isn't what I'm fond of; one could say my "obsessive interest" is writing. And my friend who has AS as well, LOVES the trumpet/band. I agree completely with that though^^ ^_^
