Copyright Morgan Von Darque. My second short film. Created at an abandoned asylum. Often thinking, are the insane, the lonely, those hiding in dark corners, perhaps endowed with abilities that ordinary lives don't dream of? Perhaps the normal ones are truly the crazy ones.

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Meet my friends (inside my head)
Theyre all here (but theyre all dead)
Happy times, never alone
This fractured mind we call our home.
In the chambers of my heart
Each has a room; never apart
Through luscious groves or whispers (screams)
Chambermind bursting at its seams

With schizophrenia youll never be alone
And never throw your shattered voice
Against a bleak and lonely wall
With schizophrenia, Im never on my own
I take my home with us wherever and whenever we may go.

With schizophrenia, youll never be alone
And never find that dreaded place
Where death and darkness meets the sky.
Youll never ever have to cry alone or die
Cause one of Them can always steer this rusty castle when you go.

Shh, my friends
Have gone to bed
Speak in whisper,
Hide your head
Theyre green and purple,
Red and brown,
Black, blue, melting in the sun
This is my secret, tell no soul,
I couldnt stand the voices, no
I shot my friends, but they came back
They always come back from the black.

With schizophrenia youll never be alone
And never throw your shattered voice
Against a bleak and lonely wall
With schizophrenia, Im never on my own
I take my home with us wherever and whenever we may go.

In these abandoned concrete halls, I see bright mirrors,
Paintings, dolls
The breeze is sweet, rain soft as lace
As we crawl backward slowly through our endless spiderweb of days
Dead leaves are dancing in our shoes
As autumn winds sings us the blues
We dont need windows, walls,
Or shackled beds,
Or padded rooms full of stuffed animals and flies to keep us well
Ive got my own dear private lunatic asylum
In our heads,
Were on a one-way ticket to an inclusive vacation down in hell.

With schizophrenia youll never be alone
And never throw your shattered voice
Against a hard and bloody wall
With schizophrenia, I cant ever let go
This never ending party in my brain wont ever leave me on my own.

Were on an endless inclusive vacation new location
At my own private Sanatorium in Hell.
