Look for me in Rainbows by Vicki Brown

When I hear the songs of Vicki Brown it touched me every time. This songs was her last song before she died to cancer, much too young. Here in the Netherlands this song is still played at funerals, but I think that the song always must be played, not only at funerals.

This song comes from her album: About love and life. (1990 Polydor B.V.)

Ik dank je heel erg dat je het lied op youtube hebt gezet. We zochten nog een lied voor mijn opa van Vicki, dit lied kenden wij niet van haar, en we vinden het zoooo mooi! Is het misschien mogelijk om het toe te voegen in een mail aan fee1984@hotmail.com. de crematie is al overmorgen...

We zouden je heel erg erkentelijk zijn!! Ik ben nu de cd met liederen voor de crematie aan het samen stellen, en duim dat je mijn verzoekje snel leest.

I know he is still all around me. Each morning he wakes me and I then realize he has been gone for one week. I can see him in the sunsets , the flowers an of course the rainbows. We have had a very rainy week so lots of rainbows. I know they are especially for me

I didn't know this was a song! A nurse handed my this 'poem' when I was in the hospital. If I would have know it was a song I would have played it at my Baby's funeral!!!

yesterday when my friend was taking his last breath and the monitor was recoring the final beats of his heart this song was playing over and over in my head

My lovely friend had this at her funeral a couple of weeks ago.

She was 28 and died from cancer.
