The video is great and very helpfull but a person shouldnt have to work on a new gun like that. I wonder why they dont have issues like this when test firing? If they do, prolly pick em randomly and shoot a few rds. Im just bummed out about mine, I had a good P-3AT that was even smaller but my brother took his own life w/it and it took me 8 mos. to get it back from the cops, felt weird carrying it sold it and got this instead. And wish I hadnt. I'll just have to deal w/it.
I dont know where ppl are getting the 'scaled down Glock' stuff from, ever seen a Glock that has that u-shaped trigger bar and a RH. & L.H. trigger spring like that? Just to look at it it resembles a Kahr more than anything in my opinion, but like I said 'just to look at it' I dont like being negative but the P-3AT's I have had will function and shoot (accuracy wise) circles around this D.B. clunker I just spent $439 on. And I had to pawn my .45-70 for the down-pyt. I really feel let down.
ThatsOK but if you still have issues with it if you have to send it to them they are gonna tell you that you voided the warranty. I know that can happen for a fact. I e-mailed them and they got back w/me and said I apperantly wasnt pulling the slide back all of the way. Imagine that....Out of the prolly 150 autoloaders I have had in my lifetime I have never done,or not done something like that. If she needs a couple hunderd rds. ran thru it still I guess I'll just have to get the wallet out.
My DB380 hasn't had my confidence as a cc weapon since it jammed repeatedly last time at the range. Wouldn't feed properly, wouldn't eject and was a general pain in the butt. Watched your video today, did as you prescribed plus a little dressing on the front block where the edges are also crisp and I can't believe what a difference that made!! It's smooth as silk now! Thanks for your observations and demo.
@uncleharley1 hi there, I'm wondering if you have shot your db380 since you posted this comment. Still running good? What ammo are you shooting? I would like to get one of these guns but am a bit worried about all the problems other people have had with theirs. I love my lcp except that the accuracy due to the sights is not what it could be. I love glocks too and this is like a scaled down glock. What is your overall opinion now that you have had the gun for a while? Thanks!
Really appreciate the video and the tips you provide. I wasn't aware the the sharp underside of the extractor, but, thanks to you I am now & will smooth mine out too. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video. My father-in-law has a DB Series ZA#### and has between 100 and 120 rds through it with multiple FT Feed and FT Eject problems. Although typically, a few malfuntions are common during the break-in period, his appeared to be a turd. > Anyway, I worked the trigger a few hndred times and took the sharp edges off of the arm as you indicated. I racked and ejected a variety of FMJ's and JHP's a few dozen times with no problems. I'll let you know how it does at the range soon.
I have a ZC#### that needed to have the ejector pin sanded down.... it caused a failure to load every time. Now, it has no issues.

I noticed you are working with a ZA####. I just bought a brand new ZD#### and am wondering how much of this video still applies?
Great video, would love to see an update.
