TBH, it doesn't really matter where you come from, but the series is set in a British city, so yes, I would prefer to have British accents heard in this (London, Northern, Geordie, Cockney, Welsh, Scottish, Yorkshire, Liverpudlian etc).
This would NOT include the stereotype "oh balderdash what-what" accent everyone thinks we speak in. So basically, any British accents from abroad would have to be prettty impressive...
