it's very very shallow COMPARED to all the other seas and terrain on the ground is very interesting. there are no big wall-kinda waves like in the ocean, instead it's all boiling during the storm as in a teapot. in the summer the baltic can be the prettiest and calmest sea around, wait till october and it will break your bones :p

haha now been there donne that, baltic sea has some real power to show =) never guessed so but sailed now some ships and been trough storm with these kind of rollings. it is epic and funny if you dont have to cook food. luckily i didnt have to fix any food LOL just be around try walk in the ship. impossible haha =) nice video!

I guess it was the Finnbirch wich sank, i was on a small bunkervessel going south from gothenburg to öresund , and the wawes was pretty ruff ;)

Yes my friend, it was in the before the traffic separation scheme on the corner of sweden near Karlskrona. In this storm, one container vessel sunk 20 miles from us. I dont remember the name of this vessel but it as some lost of life ( 2 I think )
